About the Business Operations Team
We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Data Analyst to join our Business Operations team. This isn't just a reporting role; you will be the storyteller of our data. You will dive deep into our product, user, and transactional data to uncover critical insights that will shape our strategy, guide product development, and optimize our growth engine. You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership to answer our most pressing questions and turn complex data into actionable recommendations.
You will be reporting to the Head of Business Operations with the option to work remotely or in-person in our downtown Nashville office.
What You’ll Do
Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets
Define, build, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Create and maintain automated dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Looker, Metabase)
Conduct deep-dive analyses on user behavior, funnels, and customer segmentation
Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests
Measure campaign effectiveness, analyze Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and model Lifetime Value (LTV)
Work with Engineering to ensure data accuracy and reliability
Translate complex findings into clear narratives for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Who You Are
You have 2-5 years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role
You have expert-level SQL, capable of writing complex, optimized queries (e.g., in Snowflake)
Proven experience creating dashboards using tools like Looker, Apache Superset, or similar
Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib) for statistical analysis
Strong understanding of statistical principles (e.g., hypothesis testing) and experience with A/B testing
Ability to break down ambiguous problems into data-driven projects
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a fintech, banking, or high-growth startup environment
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake)
Exposure to modern data stack tools (dbt, Fivetran)
Compensation
$70,000 - $90,000
Note this is a range and we take in a variety of factors when determining total compensation for the position.
