Events Marketing Manager

Funded by premier investors including GV and Lightspeed, Redpanda is building the streaming data platform for developers. We’re evolving streaming beyond the Apache Kafka® protocol into a unified “engine of record” that delivers a categorical reduction in complexity, wicked-fast performance, onboard Wasm transforms, and transparent tiered storage that gives consumers access to both real-time and historical data from a single API.

About the Role:

We are assembling a world-class marketing team to help grow our business. Join us to help raise awareness, build pipeline and advance Redpanda from a fast-growing startup to the top of the data industry.

We seek an Events Marketing Manager who is passionate about developer-focused demand generation, loves devising highly engaging experiences, has tremendous attention to detail and communicates clearly across channels. Reporting to the Senior Director of Growth Marketing, you will own the events that are critical to our ongoing success.

You Will:

  • Create, execute and analyze physical and digital marketing events and programs to drive revenue growth for the business and to increase brand awareness

  • Manage event logistics such as timelines, staffing, vendor agreements, lead generation and follow-up

  • Research and identify valuable conferences to sponsor and attend

  • Track key performance indicators and measure the impact on events on budget, pipeline, and other organizational goals

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on pre-event logistics including swag design, booth set up, email invitations, landing pages, social media promotion, and more

  • Partner with the sales and marketing team on post-event logistics including lead enrichment, lead assignment, follow-up messaging, and more

  • Travel to in-person events as needed to provide onsite support, execute logistics, and host networking meet-ups

You Have:

  • At least 2-4 years' of  B2B marketing events experience

  • Experience supporting a sales team and being held to lead generation goals

  • Ability to execute logistics for multiple events across various geographies

  • Exceptional project coordination and attention to detail is a must

  • Experience executing events targeting executive decision makers a plus

  • Knowledge of marketing, sales, and project management tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce, and Zoom Webinar a plus

  • Some travel required

 

U.S. base salary range for this role is $78,000 - $92,000 (CO, TX) and $90,000 - $106,000 (CA, NY). Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. As a remote-first company, we strive to consider each candidate's job-related skills, location, experience, relevant education or training to determine individual base salary. Your talent partner will share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
