Performance Marketing Manager

Position Overview
RethinkFirst is looking for a strategic and results-driven performance marketer with a passion for maximizing the impact of paid advertising campaigns to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take the lead in building and optimizing Paid Search campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads, Capterra, LinkedIn Ads, and others as assigned. Your responsibilities will encompass every aspect of campaign management, from keyword research and ad copy testing to ongoing performance analysis and optimization. This analytically savvy team member will play a key strategic role in the ongoing execution and enhancement of our paid advertising initiatives and is an essential contributor to meeting our high growth demand targets. Reporting to our Director of Marketing Operations, the role works closely with our Growth Marketing team across multiple business lines/industries and is a key part of a marketing team that will be evaluated on its direct contributions and impact to quarterly and annual pipeline goals and growth targets.


Responsibilities

  • Build out Paid Search campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) and conduct keyword research, ad copy testing, and campaign maintenance

  • Draft high-performing ad copy based on existing demand copy and collaborate with Growth Marketing industry SMEs

  • Ensure Paid campaign performance and quality across multiple business units

  • Continuously monitor, analyze and optimize ads to maximize ROI for search, display, and retargeting campaigns with a proactive approach to new strategies, platforms, and testing

  • Test ad copy, keyword structure, bid strategy, conversion optimization, and negative keywords

  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of paid advertising campaigns, including landing pages & forms, tracking elements, reporting and dashboard tools

  • Collaborate with cross-departmental stakeholders to implement creative content and assets for related channels, including best practices and strategies

  • Align paid search activities with best practices and compliance requirements across our digital web properties and databases

  • Conduct continuous analysis and optimization of campaign performance

  • Contribute to the innovation and creativity of growth campaigns and marketing programs

  • Collaborate across the marketing team and proactively pinch hit where appropriate, or as assigned

  • Be an active participant in the strategic planning of Account-Based Marketing digital plays


Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field

  • 4-6 years of paid advertising in a high-growth SaaS environment, preferably in B2B healthcare technology; ABM experience a plus

  • Demonstrable hands-on experience planning, launching, and optimizing search and display ads on a variety of platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Capterra and more; 6sense experience is a bonus

  • A strong understanding of Google Analytics, paid platforms, conversion tracking and Marketing Automation Tools (Hubspot, Marketo, or similar)

  • Demonstrable skills in copywriting, editing, and repurposing and optimizing existing content for digital advertising campaigns

  • Comfortable balancing multiple company-wide goals and working across multiple teams

  • Capable of identifying what’s worked well in the past and iterating from there, but also ideating and implementing new ideas from scratch

  • Experience with competitive benchmarking and ability to compare relevant insights that help business units make actionable decisions

  • Experience with basic Excel worksheet and calculation functionality
