SheCodes is one of the world's largest online coding schools for women, with 250,000+ students across 180 countries and over 1 million email subscribers. We are a profitable, founder-led company entering our most ambitious chapter: launching SheCodes AI, scaling our product portfolio, and working toward our mission of teaching 1 million women around the globe how to code.

The Role
You will support marketing at SheCodes. You will be responsible for growing our audience, increasing enrollments, improving retention, and building the marketing engine that takes us from 250,000 students to 1 million.
This is a hands-on role. You will write emails, analyze ad performance, plan campaigns, coordinate with freelancers and agencies, and get into the data every single day. We are a small team that moves fast. If you are looking for a role where you set the strategy and someone else does the work, this is not it.
What You'll Own
Email Marketing
Support and execute our email marketing strategy across 1M+ subscribers
Write, test, and optimize email campaigns: product launches, promotions, newsletters, drip sequences, and re-engagement flows
Segment audiences and personalize messaging to increase open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
Build and manage automated email sequences for onboarding, upsells, and lifecycle marketing
Customer Development
Deeply understand our students: who they are, why they enroll, what makes them stay, what makes them leave
Run surveys, interviews, and feedback loops to inform product and marketing decisions
Turn student success stories into compelling marketing assets
Social Media
Develop and execute a social media strategy that reaches women interested in technology, career growth, and AI
Grow our presence on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms
Create or coordinate content that educates, inspires, and converts
Build community engagement and turn followers into students
Advertising and Performance
Monitor and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other channels
Work with agencies or freelancers on ad creative and targeting
Track ROI and make data-driven decisions about budget allocation
Report on key metrics: CAC, LTV, ROAS, conversion rates
Product Growth
Assist in driving awareness and adoption for our expanding product portfolio, including SheCodes AI, SheCooked.ai, SheDreams Foundation, WeCode, and other projects in development
Coordinate launch marketing for new products and features - Identify and test new growth channels and partnerships
Brand and Positioning
Support the maintenance of the SheCodes brand voice across all touchpoints
Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity
Position SheCodes as the definitive destination for women learning to code with AI
Who We're Looking For
Essential qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a similar marketing role
Proven experience in ed-tech, online education, or creator-led businesses
Deep expertise in email marketing at scale (100K+ subscriber lists minimum)
Hands-on experience with social media strategy and content creation
Strong analytical skills with experience in ad performance monitoring and optimization
Active daily use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) integrated into your workflow, not as an experiment but as a core part of how you work
Excellent written English with the ability to write compelling copy that converts
A self-directed working style with the confidence to make decisions, take ownership, and move forward without constant direction
Experience working in a remote, async-first environment
Highly valued:
Experience marketing to a female audience
Familiarity with tools such as Stripe, Vercel, Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Loops, or similar marketing and SaaS platforms
Experience with video content strategy (YouTube, TikTok, Reels)
Understanding of SEO and content marketing
A genuine passion for education, women in technology, or global social impact
Experience managing freelancers, agencies, or small marketing teams
