Position Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at SignWell, you will be potential customers' first point of contact. Your primary role is identifying high-quality leads, engaging them through outreach campaigns, and qualifying them for handoff to the sales team. Additionally, you will take ownership of closing smaller inbound leads, guiding them through the sales process to secure new business for SignWell. You will be critical to our sales funnel and play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base.
We seek a proactive, goal-driven professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for building relationships. In this role, you’ll work closely with marketing and sales to execute outreach strategies, nurture inbound leads, and ensure potential customers experience SignWell's value from the start.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
Research and identify target accounts and key decision-makers within SignWell’s ideal customer profiles (ICPs), such as SMBs, SMEs, and enterprises.
Utilize tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Smartlead.ai to find and organize prospects.
Conduct outbound prospecting efforts, including cold emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and other digital communication methods.
2. Lead Qualification
Engage inbound and outbound leads through discovery conversations to understand their needs, pain points, and priorities.
Assess whether a lead is a good fit for SignWell’s e-signature solutions and determine their stage in the buying process.
Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and effectively transition them to Account Executives or Sales Managers.
Take ownership of smaller inbound leads, including providing product guidance and closing them.
3. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing
Work closely with the sales team to improve the handoff process and ensure seamless communication.
Collaborate with marketing to provide feedback on campaign performance, lead quality, and trends observed during prospect interactions.
Share insights about customer pain points and the competitive landscape to refine messaging and positioning.
4. CRM Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities and lead interactions in HubSpot CRM.
Track key metrics such as email open rates, response rates, and lead qualification rates.
Provide regular updates on progress, pipeline development, and performance metrics to the sales leadership team.
5. Product Knowledge & Market Insights
Develop a deep understanding of SignWell’s e-signature platform, its value proposition, and how it compares to competitors like DocuSign.
Stay informed about industry trends, customer use cases, and new features to communicate effectively with prospects.
Skills & Qualifications
Required
Exceptional English Proficiency, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and grammatically accurate messaging tailored to different audiences.
1–2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or similar customer-facing role (preferably in SaaS).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and sales enablement platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lemlist, or Smartlead.ai.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing many outreach activities daily.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
