Senior Relationship Manager (Remote)

ROLE OBJECTIVES

This performance profile aims to attract an emotionally mature Senior Relationship Manager with a proven track record of effectively managing and strengthening relationships with high-value clients or partners, driving revenue growth through strategic collaboration and exceptional service.

This role requires a digitally savvy professional who excels in high-level support, sales, negotiation, and digital project management while assisting with day-to-day operational items.

The ultimate goal is to enhance Smile’s partnerships, ensure seamless execution of new and ongoing initiatives, and contribute to Smile’s commercial success by transforming relationships into revenue opportunities. The position will have a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week with at least 6.5 hours of crossover Mon-Fri, between 8 am-5 pm GMT+10 (Brisbane, Australia).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strengthen and Manage Partnerships:

  • Use highly developed verbal and written communication skills to build trust, retain relationships, and provide exceptional support and training to our health partners.

  • Proactively engage with our partners through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and occasionally via live chat, providing assistance, resolving issues and exploring revenue-building opportunities.

Drive Revenue through Strategic Partnerships:

  • Leverage sales and negotiation skills to identify and create revenue-generating opportunities via partnerships.

  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to ideate and implement digital engagement and revenue growth initiatives.

Operational and Administrative Excellence:

  • Assist with some day-to-day operational and administrative processes.

  • Ensure any administrative tasks are handled with high attention to detail and a focus on operational excellence.

  • Seek and suggest operational efficiencies.

Digital Project Management and Technical Proficiency:

  • Utilise Asana to efficiently manage and track the progress of our regular and new partner initiatives and operational tasks.

  • Be proactive in adopting and mastering new digital tools and systems, assisting in technical implementations, and optimising processes.

  • Liaise with technical and marketing departments to ensure the successful execution of digital marketing initiatives and solutions.

Train and Support Partners:

  • Lead training sessions to help our health partners understand the product, processes, and tools, increasing their engagement and satisfaction.

  • Develop training materials and sessions to ensure practices are equipped to succeed as partners of Smile.

REQUIREMENTS

  6. Digital & Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with online project management tools, email marketing systems, and work-from-home collaboration tools, and learns new tools and technology quickly.

  7. Inbound & Outbound Calling Skills: Highly developed skills to engage with partners through calls to foster relationships and explore opportunities, plus a very quiet home office environment conducive to private calls.

  8. Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects and utilising digital tools to stay organised.

  9. Organisational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and ensure operational excellence.

  10. Operational Excellence: Skilled in managing day-to-day administrative and operational functions with precision.

  11. Proactive & Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and take initiative without direct oversight.

  12. Team Player: Willingness to collaborate across teams to achieve business objectives.

  13. Integrity: Has the highest integrity.

  14. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
