Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe audio recordings into documents accurately and promptly.

  • Review and edit transcriptions for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.

  • Ensure that all documents meet the company's quality and formatting standards.

  • Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

  • Manage and prioritize multiple transcription projects to meet deadlines.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure transcription requirements are met efficiently.

  • Use transcription software and other tools to aid in accurate and fast transcription.

  • Assist in other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, typist or in a similar transcription role.

  • Excellent listening and typing skills, with a high typing speed and accuracy

  • Strong knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

  • Familiarity with transcription software and audio equipment.

  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in transcription or related fields is a plus.
