The job in a nutshell

As an Event Marketing Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end execution of global events, aligning cross-functional teams to deliver impactful experiences that drive brand awareness and lead generation. You will manage the budget, plan event strategies, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of all event components. Your role will require a balance of strategic planning, operational efficiency, and data-driven optimization to maximize the ROI of every event.


You’ll spend time on the following

Event Planning & Strategy:

  • Manage the global event budget, define goals, timelines, and key topics.

  • Select event types, formats (in-person, virtual, hybrid), and conduct competitive benchmarking.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Work with venues, platforms, and organizers to secure contracts and logistics.

  • Align deliverables with internal teams (content, design, marketing ops, demand generation) and sales.

Logistics & Execution:

  • Oversee event registration systems, attendee tracking, and onsite/virtual setup.

Post-Event Analysis & Optimization:

  • Consolidate reports on performance metrics, collect feedback, and identify improvement areas.

Risk & Compliance Management:

  • Develop risk plans for technical or attendance issues and ensure data privacy compliance.

ROI Tracking:

  • Set benchmarks for engagement and pipeline contribution and analyze revenue impact.


Here's what we are looking for

  • You are an experienced event manager with a proven track record of successfully planning and executing B2B, in-person and virtual events, preferably in SaaS or technology industries.

  • You are a strong communicator and collaborator who excels at aligning cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.

  • You are a detail-oriented project manager who thrives in fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple events simultaneously.

  • You are analytical and data-driven, with the ability to measure event success and continuously optimize for better outcomes.

  • You have event management experience, including managing global budgets and complex logistics.

  • You have excellent negotiation skills for working with vendors, sponsors, and event organizers.

  • You have expertise with event management tools, CRM systems (HubSpot), and marketing automation platforms.

  • You have an understanding of demand generation, lead scoring, and pipeline attribution processes.

  • You can travel internationally, including to the United States, the United Kingdom, and within the European Union, as needed.

We typically find candidates with around 3+ years of experience in event management with the skillsets that we’ve mentioned above.

Bonus points if…

  • You have experience planning both in-person and virtual/hybrid events.

  • You have worked with global teams and managed multi-region events.

  • You are skilled in creative elements like booth design, interactive experiences, or event branding.

  • You are certified in event management or related fields (e.g., CMP, DES).
