Revenue Operations Manager

About the role

As a founding member of our operations team, you will work closely with our Director of Revenue Operations and play a key role in developing the strategy, processes, and analytics that inform our go-to-market motion and power our growth engine! To do this, you will gather, analyze, and synthesize data across sales and business performance metrics, and recommend a course of action that will deliver measurable results (e.g. increased bookings or process efficiency). 

You will work collaboratively with our Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and Growth teams to implement your data-driven recommendations. In parallel, you will establish and oversee reporting for key revenue and sales productivity metrics.

What you'll be doing

  • You'll develop a deep understanding of the underlying data architecture supporting sales (HubSpot, Metabase, etc.), and how to use it to report on sales performance in your first month

  • You'll review our current GTM metrics and identify any potential gaps in our measurements or ways we can improve our methodology. Where you see an opportunity, you'll define, implement, and own the evaluation of a new or improved metric to surface insights that inform our actions.

  • You'll own the preparation of materials for our cross-functional pipeline council, and participate in discussion based on insights, risks, and opportunities you've surfaced

  • You'll analyze our funnel dynamics and present your top three recommendations that will drive performance improvements, and an action plan to implement in H2

What you bring to the table

  • 2+ years of experience in an operations, consulting, or finance role, ideally in a startup environment

  • Advanced Excel skills (you're comfortable with advanced functions, pivots, vlookups, etc.!)

  • An understanding of SaaS business models; experience in a sales or CS role is a bonus

  • Proficiency in CRM reporting (Hubspot, SFDC, or Dynamics) and SQL experience is an asset

  • Experience in or understanding of the life sciences space is a plus
