Social media is social by nature. At BrandBastion, we’re on a mission to enable brands across all industries to create safe social interactions and to build meaningful relationships with their audiences.
We provide solutions where we remove harmful comments (brand safety), respond to comments in need of attention (care) and provide actionable insights on what’s being said (intelligence). We work with some of the top brands in the world including Netflix, Uber, Mango, Red Bull and NARS.
Our team is born remote, we have over 18 nationalities on the team, and our main markets are North America and Western Europe. We’ve been around for 9 years, but are still very much a fast moving and growing start-up.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As the Head of People Operations you will help us find, nurture and grow the best BrandBastioneers in a remote first environment. This is a newly created role and will be part of the Leadership Team. You will focus on creating and promoting a strong and attractive employer brand, develop internal programs to upskill and train team members, oversee Talent Acquisition, and lead general HR functions for a team spread across multiple countries.
Create, develop and promote a great employer brand that attracts the best talent to BrandBastion
Work with Leaders across BrandBastion to nurture, grow, train and retain our team members
Put in place initiatives to understand how our team members feel and to enhance their experience and our culture
Lead our Talent Acquisition team
Create and manage varying company policies as they relate to people operations
Manage compliance and legal efforts as it relates to team members across multiple countries and jurisdictions being up to date all relevant laws and regulations
Support company's leadership and managers in setting up goals for their team members and managing ongoing training needs
Organize global team meetups
REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for a high energy, strategic, data driven and detailed oriented People Operations professional. If you are a tech-savvy social media native person who thrives in a fast-paced ever changing environment, this might be for you.
4+ years experience in People Operations, Recruitment or Training in a fast growing start up/scale up
Demonstrable experience in creating and promoting a great employer brand - hopefully evident in the companies you have worked with
Excellent communicator with amazing spoken and written English skills
Curious, hungry, and driven mindset with can-do attitude and desire for constant learning and development
Passion to work in a full remote born-global multi-cultural startup environment
Solution focused, goal oriented, well organized and data driven work style
Excellent strategic thinking abilities with demonstrated capabilities to be a strategic partner to the company’s leadership and managers.
