About bunny.net
Some people accept the internet as it is. We see what it could be.
At bunny.net, we don’t wait for change. We make it happen. You won’t find layers of red tape or play-it-safe thinking here. You’ll find people who move quickly, take ownership, and push ideas all the way to the edge. Literally.
You’ll build things that solve actual problems, not add to them.
We’re not perfect, and we don’t pretend to be. But we’re always improving. We’re looking for people who want to do the same, who take pride in their work, and aren’t afraid to challenge what’s possible.
Because everyone deserves a better internet. And we’re here to help it hop faster.
Accountant
As an Accountant at bunny.net, you'll be joining our six-person strong Finance team, supporting our Financial Controller on month-end close, audits, AR, and our UK entity, keeping everything behind it running cleanly, accurately, and on time.
We operate a global SaaS platform with high transaction volumes and customers across multiple countries, which means there’s a lot happening behind the scenes to keep the books tight and compliant.
Finance plays a key role in that, and it’s what keeps everything steady as we grow. This is a hands-on role where the details genuinely matter, and you'll be the person making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
You’ll report directly to our Financial Controller and work alongside another Accountant, as well as our Slovenian partners: a small, collaborative setup where people stay close to the details and support each other as we scale.
What Will You Do?
Contribute to our month-end close process, helping us close the books faster and with greater accuracy
Own and manage AR end-to-end: maintaining records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
Support the UK entity, for example with payroll reviews and VAT returns
Keep financial data clean, reconciled, and audit-ready (always, not just when someone's looking)
Handle high-volume payment flows across gateways, banks, and currencies
Support AP and payroll journals, including working with international payroll setups and external providers
Assist with audit queries
Stay in sync with the German entity accountant and our Slovenian partners, so nothing drifts between entities
Spot what's slow or not scalable and make it better, without overcomplicating it
What Success Looks Like in This Role
Month-end happens predictably, every time
The UK entity runs like clockwork: no surprises, nothing unaccounted for
Audits are smooth because everything is already in order
The team trusts your numbers without needing to double-check
Problems get fixed before most people even notice them
Repetitive work quietly gets simpler or automated over time
To make your application stand out (we meant it when we said details matter), include the word ledger in the first sentence of your cover letter.
What Will You Bring?
2–5 years of experience in a hands-on accounting role (such as Accountant, GL Accountant, Financial Accountant, or similar), ideally in a SaaS or high-growth environment
A strong accounting foundation: ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent (or working towards one)
Experience with UK accounting, including UK GAAP and/or IFRS in multi-entity or international environments
A habit of spotting what could work better, and fixing it, without waiting to be asked
Confidence handling volume and complexity (transactions, reconciliations, moving parts)
Clear ownership: if it's yours, you get it done
Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Clear communication when working across teams and with external partners
What Will Make Us Extra Happy?
Exposure to broader EU accounting environments, especially Germany or Slovenia
Familiarity with NetSuite
Experience working in a fast-moving, sometimes undefined or high-growth environment
A practical mindset for improving and automating repetitive work
Where Should You Be Located?
This job is fully remote from Europe (ideally CET or close time zone) with a flexible schedule, to make collaboration easier. You’re still free to hop around the world and switch up your scenery whenever you want.
