Business Development Representative, Higher Education

CollegeVine is the leader in helping students connect with—and get accepted by—the best college for their needs, and we're looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Higher Education Partnerships team. You'll be responsible for reaching out to Directors of Admissions at colleges and universities via phone, email and social, telling them a bit about our student recruiting products, and scheduling meetings between them and our sales team. This is a remote job and will report to the Demand Generation Manager.

Here's what you'd be working on:

  • Schedule meetings with qualified prospects for our sales team through phone calls, email and social tools

  • Strategize and prioritize with sales and marketing to create campaigns based on trends in the market

  • Be the voice of our company by introducing potential clients to our brand

  • Research to find the best contact for each college and tailor outreach for different buyer types

  • Be thorough and organized in your documentation and processes in SalesLoft & Salesforce

  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services, new pricing/payment plans and all B2B content that relates to the types of schools you're calling

  • Report to the Demand Gen Manager weekly with sales results

Here are the qualifications we're looking for:

  • 1+ years sales experience

  • Persuasive & clear verbal & written communication skills

  • A burning desire to win

  • Experience working in or selling to higher education a big plus
