Sales Representative, Higher Education

CollegeVine is the leader in helping students connect with—and get accepted by—the best-fit college for their needs, and we're looking for an experienced Sales Representative to join our Higher Education Partnerships team. You'll be responsible for selling our suite of student recruiting solutions to Directors of Admissions at colleges and universities, including presenting our offerings, negotiating deal terms, and ensuring contracts get signed. This is a remote job and will report to the VP of Sales.

Historically, college admission teams have had to resort to buying lists of student email addresses harvested from testing services and other list brokers, resulting in a sub-par communication experience for both students and colleges. This job gets to work on making sure every college admissions team understands how to put our ground-breaking recruiting tools to work. Pretty cool, huh?

Here's what you'd get to work on:

  • Presenting CollegeVine's suite of recruiting solutions to senior enrollment and admissions leaders at colleges & universities

  • Identifying key decision-makers, stakeholders and influencers and ensuring their questions & concerns are understood and addressed

  • Negotiating pricing, commitments and other deal terms

  • Positioning CollegeVine's products against alternative solutions and help customers understand the comparative ROI

  • Developing and executing closing strategies and plans to get agreements signed

  • Delivering reliable forecasts and pipeline updates

  • Consistently close new business at or above quota level

  • Bring customers insights to the product and marketing teams to inform our roadmaps

 

Here are the qualifications we're looking for:

  • 5+ years sales experience selling Search to colleges

  • Experience selling to senior executives and decision-makers

  • Ability to negotiate and close complex contracts

  • Ability to accurately forecast deals

  • Persuasive & clear verbal & written communication skills

  • A burning desire to win
