The Role
Daybreak is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support our growing community of district partners. This person will join the Account Management team and Core Revenue team, reporting to our Senior Account Manager. They will be responsible for building and maintaining consultative relationships with district decision-makers and program leads and ensuring that Daybreak’s clinical programs and product offerings are delivering amazing value across all stakeholder groups in the district (referring staff, students, families, leaders). As a critical leader in our work to scale and advance district partnerships with a long-term focus on growth and impact, this person will be a key player in our efforts to exceed our current track record of rapid expansion and amazing customer happiness from our school district partners.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary account manager for up to 40 district partners, maintaining regular touch-points and protecting relationship health
Use implementation and outcomes data to drive storytelling and demonstrate the value of the partnership to district leaders in quarterly Cabinet-level Business Reviews
Identify district champions and expand strategic relationships in large district accounts through prospecting and networking
Manage the renewal and expansion cycle for up to 40 Daybreak district and County-level partnerships
Identify and close-win opportunities for program and product expansion throughout the year
Develop and manage annual district partnership plan with input from school support managers, clinical school leaders and engineering/product
Support district IT and Daybreak Engineering team with district file sharing and technical implementation needs
Create and maintain regional growth strategies in collaboration with Account Executives on the sales team
Serve as the “voice of the customer” and provide written summaries of important partner conversations to inform business and product strategy
Qualifications
Required:
2+ years of successful experience as an Account Manager dedicated to supporting K-12 schools and districts
Proven expertise in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) management
A deep commitment to data-driven planning and decision-making
Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at building and nurturing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including district partners
Resilience, positivity, and a genuine passion for enhancing mental health outcomes for youth."
Nice-to-have but not required:
Experience in the mental health or healthcare space
Experience with Excel or Google Sheets
Experience with salesforce or comparable customer management software
Compensation
Daybreak’s compensation is a mix of cash and equity. As a high-growth company on a mission, we value employees who are fully bought in and want to be owners in the company. As such our cash compensation is average market, and our equity compensation is above market.
Pay Range
$100,000—$120,000 USD
