About You

The Sales Development Representative's role is to call health plan members and schedule them for appointments with our Registered Dietitians (RDs) so that they can start their journey to a healthier life. You will be given contacts from our marketing team who will most often be in-network with our insurance partners so that you can welcome them to the program, deliver a pitch on why it's important for them to meet with a Foodsmart RD, and then schedule a series of appointments for them. We're looking for people who are mission driven and want to schedule as many appointments as they can during a day. We need people who can talk to anyone and who have empathy and compassion for people from all walks of life. In addition, you will be able to take ownership on a daily basis through:

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to potential new members and explain the benefits of Foodsmart

  • Set up packages of appointments with Registered Dietitians

  • Be able to follow call scripts while making it your own

  • Make an average of 75+ calls/day

  • Address any questions or concerns that members may have about telenutrition, and escalate any issues to leader team if needed

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a remote outbound sales or support role

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds

  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple responsibilities and priorities

  • Ability to make an average of 75+ calls/day

Desired Skills

  • Prior cold calling and prospecting experience

  • Prior experience with Zendesk and/or CallRail

  • Familiarity with health and nutrition terminology

  • Comfortability with CRMs and data collection/entry

  • Proficiency in Google Suite, with prior experience in Zendesk and Salesforce as a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

$55,000 - $55,000 a year

The compensation for this position is $30,000 base salary plus $25,000 OTE commission.
