We are looking for a SEO Specialist reporting to our VP of Marketing to join our Marketing team and work closely with the product and engineering teams to drive and execute our SEO strategy. As a SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for the execution of SEO in our digital marketing strategy, with a commercial understanding of how it translates to driving user acquisition and engagement.

You will have operated in a hyper-growth startup and have experience building and executing SEO strategies from the ground up. You have a deep understanding of technical SEO, on-page and off-page optimization, and content strategy.Y our superpower is your ability to bridge the gap between technical SEO specifics and business needs effortlessly, turning high-level strategies into real-world traffic growth. What you'll do:

  • SEO strategy development: Work with our VP of Marketing to develop and execute our SEO strategy, identifying key opportunities and assessing their alignment with our business goals and customer requirements.

  • Technical SEO: Conduct technical SEO audits and recommend fixes to ensure optimal site performance, crawlability, and indexability.

  • Keyword research & content strategy: Conduct keyword research to guide content teams in creating high-quality, SEO-optimized content that drives organic traffic and conversions.

  • On-page & off-page optimization: Optimize website content, landing pages, and other on-page elements, as well as develop and implement link-building strategies.

  • In-product SEO optimisation: Manage the relationship between in-product features and optimising social sharing of user-generated content for maximum indexability and dsicoverability in search, particularly focusing on our template library and ensuring content is optimized for ranking where it makes sense.

  • Content development: Plan, draft and create highly engaging pages filled with content that maps to your keyword strategy including writing yourself and working with team members or outsourced writers to deliver quickly.

  • Analytics & reporting: Track, report, and analyze website analytics and SEO performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.

What we'll look for:

  • Proven experience in SEO with a strong portfolio of successfully ranked websites and demonstrated ability to drive significant organic traffic growth ideally in early growth tech.

  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and a solid understanding of SEO principles, ranking factors, and search engine algorithms.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and external partners.
