eCommerce Agency (Shopify) Project Manager

Summary

About Netalico

Netalico is a full-service e-commerce agency, specializing in conversion-focused and data-driven solutions for your site. Our team includes Project Managers, UX Designers, Front-End Developers, eCommerce Engineers, and SEO Experts, all based within the Americas. We communicate daily on Slack and manage our internal work via Asana with client work on Trello. Even though we’re all apart, we try to stay connected and keep things fun!

Netalico started about ten years ago when Mark, the founder, was a freelance web developer. Over time, the team grew and became ecommerce focused. Today, we have retainers with 30+ companies, some of which have been clients for the past nine years. The team loves working with long-term clients because of the opportunity to build long-term relationships.

The Role

We are looking for someone that is passionate about delivering impactful, conversion driven products for our clients. We are a team that sees beyond immediate site issues and encourages our clients to focus on the bigger picture through site audits and future planning. Netalico describes ourselves as a partner, not just another vendor. 

As Project Manager, you will ensure the continuity and efficiency of each project from start to finish through clear communication to all parties involved. You will manage a portfolio of Shopify clients within a fast paced agency environment. It’s critical to be open to constant changes and challenges. 

  • Play a pivotal role in ensuring projects and site builds are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to company goals

  • Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the full cycle of assigned projects; from kickoff to completion

  • Work collaboratively with both internal and external partners 

  • Communicate and meet with clients to discuss project requirements and status

  • Perform tasks required by the project manager team in support of project needs such as assisting with customer communication and interactions, tracking progress, maintaining up-to-date notes, ensuring all project documentation is accurate 

  • Prepare and/or edit internal scopes of work, estimates, budgets, comments, and emails 

  • Address questions/concerns throughout the project 

  • Collaborate with project management team to allocate resources efficiently and optimize resource utilization for maximum productivity

  • Assist in management of team email box to ensure communication is assigned to the correct party

  • Familiar with industry standard methodologies and can find opportunities for novel solutions

Qualifications:

  • You have a reliable internet connection which allows you to work from anywhere.

  • Preferred work hours in Pacific Time for extended client coverage

  • Experience in Shopify required, BigCommerce and Magento knowledge beneficial

  • Proficient knowledge of PM tools - particularly Asana and Trello. 

  • Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - this role will be client facing

  • Has great attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Requires minimal supervision

  • Someone who has a 2-4 years of experience in similar responsibilities
