We have an exciting vacancy for an Account Manager, looking to further their career in Health Care or Medical Technology. This position is full time (37.5 hour week) and home based with an expectation of some travel.
You will report to the Head of Account Management working alongside the existing Account Management team.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing an allocated set of Accounts under the mentorship of the Head of Account Management
Develop and execute collaborative Account Plans with key customers
Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment between the customer and PKB objectives and delivery of these objectives, including attending/ presenting at board meetings
Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple teams within PKB to enable the successful delivery of projects and programmes of work
Maintain positive relationships and understand the respective needs of all stakeholders in your accounts, acting as a point of escalation for any issues
Manage contract details, payment and be ultimately responsible for the renewal of contracts
Work closely with sales and marketing team to generate leads into other Trusts and ICS’s based on successful networking and delivery of benefits within your Accounts
You will be expected to keep up to speed with system knowledge and have a good understanding of the UK healthcare market
Utilise our CRM extensively to ensure up to date information and activities are always recorded
Maintain awareness of industry sector and technological advances
Requirements
Essential:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to project a confident and professional image inline with the company brand and values
Self-starter – with passion and drive to build a great career and contribute to company growth
An enthusiasm for healthcare and a belief in the PKB mission
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills and ability to adapt these styles (to varying levels of people within the NHS)
At least two years of Account Management/customer facing experience ideally in a software company and/or working with the NHS on complex programmes with multiple stakeholders
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strategic thinker with attention to detail
Desirable:
Graduate with 2:1 or better degree or equivalent in working experience
We would prefer applicants to have had some experience working within a software business and an understanding at some level of Healthcare Services/the NHS
