Digital Marketing Specialist

Location: Remote

Position Summary: This role will focus on building the Quaint Oak brand through social media marketing, offsite SEO, and other relevant digital marketing initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Manage social media channels for Quaint Oak Bank and its subsidiaries including content scheduling in HubSpot

  • Ability to generate and implement effective social media advertising campaigns

  • Social media profile optimization for all company profiles

  • Produce graphics for social media posts that support each channel

  • Monitor social media channels and the web for comments, @mentions, and messages

  • Create templates for internal teams to use on social media

  • Increase brand awareness, organic social media following and engagement

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop social media campaign strategy

  • Stay up to date on social media industry best practices, monitoring trends and recommending improvements

  • Perform offsite search engine optimization (SEO) tactics through citation building, backlinking, and outreach

  • Claim, manage, and optimize online business listings (e.g. Google Business, Bing for Business, etc.), monitoring and responding to reviews

  • Present an activity report for social media community engagement, including @mentions, comments, and other relevant brand awareness metrics

  • Report on the effectiveness of offsite SEO strategies, including changes in web traffic generated from offsite activity

  • Assist with collecting information for company audits

  • Provide graphic design support for marketing projects

  • Other duties or special projects as assigned 

Education & Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a digital marketing role

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize projects in a multi-tiered environment

  • Strong time management and quality of work with attention to detail

  • Understanding of digital accessibility as it pertains to the role

  • Experience with HubSpot or other similar social posting platform

  • Proficiency with local SEO and best practices 

  • Proficiency with social media advertising platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva

  • Solid computer skills including proficiency in MS Office and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.)

  • Experience with influencer marketing is a plus

  • Working knowledge of WordPress is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
