Job Category

A growing, fast-paced, digital marketing agency seeks a Content Manager to join our team of performance-driven creators, analysts, and subject matter experts. Build out original content, take charge of the full editorial process, and lead a team of freelancers, to ensure quality, accuracy, timeliness, and alignment to client needs.


Bring your passion, creativity, and superior command of the English language to tell a compelling client story that achieves measurable results. In this role, you will need to think imaginatively and act strategically to produce a range of marketing assets including blog posts, landing pages, eBooks, emails, case studies, infographics, whitepapers, scripts, thought leadership articles, etc.

 

Responsibilities

  • Research, write, and edit excellent, client-ready, on-time copy for various marketing materials

  • Work with the Director of Content Marketing, Account Managers, Design, Services, Sales, and freelancers to ensure that fresh, original storytelling is a part of every asset

  • Develop buyer personas based on industry analysis, client data, and branding guidelines

  • Edit contributor assets and handle quality control for multiple clients

  • Review analytics to determine effectiveness of campaigns and assets and adjust accordingly

  • Initiate new content ideas and build out editorial calendars

  • Post to multiple content management systems

  • Remain up to date on tools, technologies, and industry insights in digital marketing and SEO

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience writing and editing marketing content, preferably for an agency

  • Phenomenal command of the English language, including syntax, punctuation, and grammar

  • Outstanding research, fact-checking, and editing skills

  • Superb interpersonal skills, able to meet with coworkers, clients, and executives

  • Close familiarity with AP Stylebook, as well as branding and marketing guidelines

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially proficient in Word

  • Familiarity with content management and project management systems

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, communication, marketing, journalism or similar

  • Certifications in Google Analytics, SEO, or coursework in technical writing, marketing, or business a plus

 

The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 USD to $60,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
