Remote Tech Sales Internship (Unpaid, Training-First)

We’re a background screening platform helping service businesses hire with confidence. This internship is designed for career-changers or people looking to break into tech sales who want hands-on exposure to SaaS sales without needing prior experience.

Format & Time

  • ~8–10 hrs/week • Remote

  • Flexible schedule to fit around work/school (must be able to work during US business hours)

  • Training-first: shadowing, practice, feedback, portfolio pieces

What You’ll Learn (Curriculum)

  • Intro to B2B sales, ICP, buyer roles, compliance basics in HR tech

  • Messaging lab — write cold opens, call talk tracks, objection trees

  • Research & tools — light CRM hygiene, list building ethics, sequencing

  • Build a mini outbound playbook (ICP brief, 5-call script, 3-email sequence, objection map). Present to the team for feedback.

What You’ll Do

  • Cold-calling reps + coaching: daily practice blocks with live feedback on tone, pacing, and objection handling.

  • Shadow real discovery & demo calls: join pre-briefs, observe live calls, and debrief to extract what worked (and what didn’t).

  • Master the open: high-volume cold-call practice to build confidence and book meetings.

  • See the full sales motion: sit in on discovery and demo calls, with pre-call plans and post-call breakdowns.

Compensation
