Part-time Sales Rep in Finance Space

TradingHours.com is a boutique financial data provider. We collect information on when financial markets around the world are open or closed and license that data to hedge funds, investment banks, and other FinTech companies.

We are looking for an experienced, part-time sales person. Your primary responsibility will be handling inbound sales inquiries, scheduling calls, navigating prospects through the sales process and ultimately closing deals. You will also manage the CRM (hubspot).

Our sales process is still evolving. We have found somethings that work and some things that don’t. As an experienced sales rep, you will use your intuition and experience to experiment and continue improving the sales process.

This position pays a base salary (monthly or hourly, commensurate with experience) plus generous commissions.

Applicants should have extensive sales experiences. Should be experienced selling a technical product. We sell data and APIs. Ideal candidates will have experience in the finance space.

We are a small (5 person) company with a huge opportunity to grow. You will be the first dedicated sales hire. Up until now, all sales have been conducted by the founder.

This position will start as a contractor position and may switch to employee (W2) position in the future.

Yes, there will be a training and trial period. Training will last approximately 1 month. After that test period will last 2 months. Then the position will be considered permanent.
Are there set hours I need to be working during the day?
No, there are no set hours. You will be expected to be available during regular working hours (ET or GMT timezone) and respond quickly to prospective clients and co-workers.
