The Global Logistics Assistant is responsible to support the Supply Chain Team by providing On Time Data Accuracy related to Purchase Orders in our main ERP and other platforms on a daily and/or bi-weekly basis.

Job requirements

Expected outcomes & responsibilities

  • Create Purchase Orders, Shipping Marks & Lot Tracking Labels: including triggering prepayments request process. Lot Numbers must be entered in NS on the same day the PO is created.

  • Freight Bookings: perform daily bookings approval and follow up with Forwarder and Factories.

  • Commercial Documents: execute commercial documents controls for every cargo shipped from our factories, ensuring all corrections are done on a timely manner

  • Support Supply Chain activities with data entry tasks to ensure 100% of information shown in NS is up-to-date daily.

  • SKU creation for new styles and brands in NS and on 3PLs portal.

  • Support Merchandising Team with National Brands Purchase Orders Management

  • Lead and own the Supply process of National Brand’s Purchase Orders after they are created and shared to the vendors by the Merchandising Team.

  • Create Purchase orders, ASN & book appointments with the warehouse for the receivings.

  • Ensure on time receivings (within 5 business days after arrival) for National Brand’s Purchase Orders by following and updating tracking information provided by the vendors, and providing visibility to the inventory/inbound teams.

  • Ensure discrepancies below 2% for all National Brands orders by following up with the Merchandising team and inventory/inbound teams within 5 business days after receiving date.

  • Report any discrepancies in order to have them solved with the warehouse or, if not, request the credits to the vendors.

  • Ensure that all orders are following the vendor’s shipping guidelines and report any issues with the guidelines to ensure the correct credits request to the vendors.

  • Keep disciplined routines to report 2 times per week about National Brand’s POs receiving status.


Experience/ Qualifications

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • English proficiency

  • Knowledge or prior experience in operations-related roles (1 year)
