Program Manager (Care Transformation)

Role: Program Manager (Care Transformation)

The mission of a Program Manager (Care Transformation) is to drive strong, long-term partnerships that deliver meaningful positive change for providers, patients, and administrators across the healthcare landscape.

You’ll collaborate closely with leaders across health systems to drive adoption of Ambience from initial pilots through full-scale enterprise rollouts. Your goal is to ensure Ambience delivers measurable clinical and financial outcomes as we grow our partnerships. As a trusted advisor, you’ll help align executive priorities with frontline needs to ensure Ambience enables better care at scale.

What you’ll do

  • Build high-trust partnerships with clinical, operational, financial, and IT leaders across accounts, serving as the face of Ambience to health system customers

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Ambience solutions across complex health systems, coordinating workflow discovery, technical integration, onboarding, and go-live execution

  • Partner closely with Product and Clinician Success to continuously improve the customer experience, bringing structured feedback into roadmap discussions and playbooks

  • Own post-sale execution of Ambience pilots, keeping them on track, realizing value quickly, and guiding the path to long-term enterprise partnerships

  • Shape and deliver clear ROI narratives for executive readouts and QBRs to earn buy-in and build champions

  • Accelerate time to value by anticipating roadblocks, managing change, and helping partners move from pilot to scale with confidence

  • Capture repeatable playbooks and frameworks to elevate the entire Care Transformation team

Who you are

  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare transformation, health tech implementation, customer success, or healthcare management consulting

  • Experience working closely with provider organizations and navigating complex health systems

  • Proven success leading post-sale motions, converting pilots into long-term contracts, and building champions across clinical, operational, and executive teams

  • Exceptional communicator, fluent in both clinical and operational language, able to meet stakeholders where they are with clarity and credibility

  • Comfortable operating independently in high-ambiguity environments, bringing structure, anticipating roadblocks, and taking ownership without waiting for instructions

  • Deeply mission-aligned, motivated by fixing what’s broken in healthcare and working with a team that shares that urgency

  • Willing to travel up to 30% for onsite support during key customer events, stakeholder meetings, and QBRs (all expenses covered per Ambience’s travel policy)

Pay transparency

  • Base compensation: $145,000–$185,000 per year (excluding equity)

  • Flexible cash/equity mix, with Ambience leaning toward generous equity grants so the team shares in the impact created

  • Compensation individualized based on experience, location, and overall fit
