POSITION OVERVIEW
Avero is on the lookout for a high-energy, results-driven Account Executive to join our Revenue team. We're seeking someone who not only has proven SaaS sales experience but also a strong background in the food and beverage industry—ideally with restaurant management experience. If you understand the real challenges hospitality professionals face because you've lived them, this is your chance to help solve them through innovative technology.
In this role, you'll partner closely with the Global Account Manager to manage and grow customer relationships, identify new sales opportunities, and work cross-functionally with teams like Customer Success, Support, Product, Engineering, and Finance to deliver exceptional service. You’ll also help develop sales content—presentations, sound bites, and testimonials—that resonate with industry decision-makers and help close deals. We’re looking for someone who’s ambitious, entrepreneurial, and passionate about both hospitality and tech.
This is a remote position; however, we prefer candidates residing in New York City, Las Vegas, or the Dallas metro area.
What You'll Do
Work with the Global Account Manager to execute on account sales strategies across assigned accounts in your book of business.
Serve as a main point of contact for sales closings within assigned accounts. You will be responsible forexpanding on field-level relationships of key accounts, understanding business drivers, leverage cross functional resources, and analyzing key metrics for customer sales.
You will be responsible for executing discovery calls and product demos, converting account expansion leads to customers.
Communicate effectively with the Sales team to create and close on conversion, upgrade, and expansion opportunities.
Engage with customers to understand their needs and deliver results.
Help develop and execute expansion strategies to meet quota.
Work with Customer Success and Customer Support to gather strategic results and organize sales presentations.
Maintain a growth mentality and seek constant skill improvement and knowledge gain while working collaboratively with peers.
Ensure our customers receive the highest level of sales and operational excellence.
Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive activity, and customer opportunities and suggest new ways to increase sales.
Execute on the early stages of new customer onboarding and engagement to continue account expansion efforts.

You must be adept at quickly developing relationships with decision makers and uncovering pains and showing alignment to the Avero technology.

You have exceptional time management and organizational skills, and exceptional responsiveness to customer needs
What You'll Need
2+ years of experience in sales/account management roles, preferably in the hospitality SaaS company industry
Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry, vertical specialization a plus (Hotels, Restaurants, and Casinos)
The ability to sell an app and tech-based platform
Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively and have the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
Excellent listening and presentation skills with experience presenting to C-Level and technology leaders.
Demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding sales quotas in a SaaS environment.
In-depth knowledge of the Avero platform and Salesforce/CRM a plus
Ability to actively listen and manage conflict resolution.

For Colorado* based candidates - The range of our base salary cash compensation for this role for candidates living in Colorado is between $60,000 and $70,000. Final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise. We also offer a full robust benefits package. Because Avero's base compensation is driven by location, we will be happy to discuss a salary range for other locations during the interview process.
