Chief of Staff, Clover Care Services

The Clover Care Services organization delivers proactive support and care to our members through our Clover Home Care teams, and quality improvement services to our insurance plan providers on Clover Assistant through our New Jersey-based managed service organization (MSO). We have built one of the most proactive, data-driven health care services platforms in New Jersey and are excited about the future of technology and how it impacts our ability to bring transformative results to both patients and providers.

Clover Health is looking for a dynamic Chief of Staff to support the CEO of our Clover Care Services division. This pivotal role will serve as the executive's right hand and will facilitate deep communication across all groups. You will be responsible for keeping the executive apprised of key initiatives and projects, jumping in to move things forward wherever necessary. The right person must be a data-driven, creative problem-solver with exceptional organizational and communication skills who is capable of influencing wide-scale projects and is passionate about our mission.

As a Chief of Staff, Clover Care Services, you will:

  • Apply a data-driven approach to solving problems, leveraging business acumen and strategic thinking to guide decision making processes.

  • Support and build cross-functional relationships with key partners across the organization, motivating teams and individuals to achieve goals while enforcing accountability.

  • Align initiatives with core business objectives, establishing and optimizing processes to drive measurable progress and growth.

  • Provide regular status updates to the CEO on key projects and initiatives, proactively identifying and removing obstacles and pivoting quickly to shifting priorities.

  • Create and deliver high-impact executive presentations and communication strategies for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manage and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information.

Success in this role looks like:

  • In your first 90 days, you will:

    • Establish a framework for aligning the Clover Care Services team on strategic priorities.

    • Successfully manage and deliver on a few high-priority projects or initiatives.

    • Create a template for sharing the division to internal and external stakeholders.

  • After 6 months you will:

    • Successfully oversee multiple projects, demonstrating the ability to manage complex, high-impact initiatives.

    • Provide consistent, high-quality support to the CEO, including strategic planning, meeting preparation, and issue resolution.

  • Future success in this role includes:

    • Strategic Impact: Play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company’s strategic vision; demonstrate significant contributions to the company’s growth, profitability, and market position.

    • Organizational Development: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the organization.

You should get in touch if:

  • You have 7+ years of experience in management consulting, healthcare strategy, or a related field. 

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, MHA) is a plus.

  • You have strong project management skills, with a proven track record of leading complex projects from start to finish.

  • You have exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities and are familiar with financial statements, calculating core business metrics, and have strong research skills.

  • You have excellent communication skills, with demonstrated ability to articulate complex information effectively to various stakeholders.

  • You possess high emotional intelligence and can motivate and influence others effectively.

  • You are proficient in Excel, Google Suite, SQL, and other data analysis tools.

  • You are a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.

  • You have high ethical standards, meticulous attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $187,000. Final pay is based on several factors including but not limited to internal equity, market data, and the applicant’s education, work experience, certifications, etc.
