We're looking for a Customer Success Manager to take full ownership of client retention and team development, working directly with leadership to turn relationships into revenue. This is not a check-in-with-clients role. This is not a cushy gig. This is a role for someone who wants to own outcomes, build a high-performing AM team, and become an indispensable force behind our growth.

πŸ’Ό What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the full client lifecycle β€” from onboarding through retention and expansion β€” ensuring every client feels valued, heard, and set up for long-term success

  • Nurture a portfolio of SEO clients, building deep relationships that drive measurable growth in MRR and reduce churn

  • Train, coach, and mentor junior Account Managers with a clear pathway to grow them into senior roles β€” creating a team that runs like a well-oiled machine

  • Serve as the strategic bridge between clients and internal delivery teams, translating client goals into actionable outcomes

  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities naturally, through genuine relationship-building rather than hard selling

  • Track and report on client health metrics, satisfaction scores, and revenue impact β€” and use that data to continuously improve the experience

  • Build and refine training materials, SOPs, and playbooks that level up the entire AM team

You lead with a customers-first philosophy β€” not because someone told you to, but because you genuinely believe it's the only way to build something that lasts.

  • Proven experience in a Customer Success, Account Management, or Client Services role β€” ideally within a digital marketing or SEO agency

  • Demonstrated ability to train and develop junior team members into senior-level performers, with real examples you can speak to

  • A hard track record of client retention and revenue growth β€” we want specific numbers: MRR impact, churn rates reduced, accounts expanded

  • A working understanding of SEO fundamentals β€” you don't need to be technical, but you need to speak credibly with clients and internal teams

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy

  • Experience working asynchronously in a remote-first environment
