Revenue Operations Manager

Job Summary: 

As the Revenue Operations Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing and aligning the processes, systems, and teams involved in revenue generation, including sales, marketing, and customer success. Your role is critical in driving efficiency and effectiveness across these functions to maximize revenue growth for Metadata and our customers. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and implement data-driven strategies to achieve revenue goals across a wide variety of tech stacks, and business models. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on solving new and complex problems every day, and also understands that the most elegant solutions are typically the most simple.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaigns, lead management, forecasting, and revenue recognition

  • Work with the internal Metadata team as well as Metadata’s customers to scope, design, align, and execute world class marketing ops and sales ops systems and processes

  • Analyze go-to-market data across disparate systems to Identify strategic areas of opportunity. Translate those insights into a plan with actionable recommendations, present it to C-level executives, and secure their approval to execute your vision.

  • Manage and be accountable for the end-to-end campaign lifecycle, including:

    • Own the Marketing tech stack (Hubspot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach)

    • Manage lead scoring, lead routing, attribution, and funnel conversion reporting

    • Build and support automation for nurture campaigns

    • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations

  • Assist customers with technical integration into the Metadata Platform

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Marketing Operations

  • Strong experience (certifications preferred but not required) with or willingness to become an expert in:

    • CRMs: Salesforce and HubSpot

    • Marketing Automation: Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot, and Eloqua 

    • Attribution tools such as GA4, Google Data Studio, Bizible, HockeyStack, Tableau, Domo, etc.

    • Digital Advertising Channels: Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, X, Google Ads (Search), Bing

  • Expertise in building lead-scoring models, attribution, and campaign management

  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Data Studio (nice to have)

  • Strong understanding of the customer lifecycle and lead-to-revenue conversion funnel

  • Enjoys interacting with internal and external stakeholders 

  • Familiarity with basic pricinples of website development (Landing Page and thank you page set up, pixels, forms, cookies, personalization)

Training Requirements:

  • Training on the company's sales, marketing, and customer success processes and systems.

  • Ongoing training to stay updated on revenue operations best practices and technologies.

Working Conditions:

  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and customer success, are essential for successful revenue operations management.

  • Travel required

  • North American working hours

  • English as a first language
