The Sr Director of Operations plays a critical role in the development and implementation of operations and supply chain strategies to support Olipop’s short- and long-term growth requirements. This position will oversee a growing team of customer service, warehouse, transportation, and co-manufacturing professionals, leading process and system improvements while enhancing our go to market strategy.  This role will work cross functionally with Quality, Commercialization, Finance/FP&A, and Planning to support a robust distribution network to reduce costs, accelerate innovation timelines while contributing to Olipop’s improvement in key quality metrics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  This role is responsible for leading and developing Logistics, Customer Service and Co-Manufacturing activities for Olipop

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Planning, Quality, Sales, Finance/FP&A, and Marketing to lead process improvements and drive operational efficiencies.

  • Assess the current supply chain layout, identify opportunities, and recommend permanent solutions to support improved COGS and increased volumes as the business continues to scale to $1B.

  • Maintain strategic partnerships with existing co-mans and ensure future capacity needs are met.

  • Build and implement supply chain strategies based on current and future direction.

  • Develop/train supply chain team, make staffing recommendations, and support ability to bring on new systems and tools to drive best in class service.

  • Support supply chain team through new product development and SKU rationalization.

  • Analyze SKU efficiency and closely communicate with Finance and Planning teams to understand its financial / operational impact

  • Lead and support Logistics Functions and partner with 3rd party providers (3PL DCs, transportation carriers) to deliver growth, service, customer service and cost initiatives.

  • Highly skilled in communication, can manage complex situations, and leadership in problem solving.

  • Ideate and implement robust productivity and sustainability programs

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  •  12-15 years of experience in an applicable role within the beverage/CPG

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external contacts

  • Leadership skills and presence that include the ability to drive innovative business improvements, balance short- and long-term priorities, deliver results, import and export good ideas, develop and inspire others, and lead with integrity.

  • Demonstrated ability for strategic thinking with multi year planning experience

  • Experience managing multiple co-pack/repack partners in the food and beverage industry.

  • Proven ability to develop strategic plans and manage implementation and execution, along with an ability to analyze data and identify root causes.

  • Must have a collaborative style and an ability to persuade, motivate in all directions within the organization – to sell up, to motivate down, and to cross sell to peers is essential to success.

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced MS Excel skills is a

  • Experience with NetSuite systems or any other ERP system strongly

Reports to:  Vice President, Supply Chain

Compensation: $175k-$190k base salary + bonus
