The Role:
We are looking for a Business Development Representative that will work to find new business opportunities. You will ensure the quality of leads while finding lucrative ventures for the business to undertake as it scales and expands.
What You'll Do:
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
Present our company to potential clients
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Report on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
What You'll Need for Experience and Mindset:
1+ years of Channel Sales, Business Development, or Partner Management within the Shopify, or similar ecosystem
Sales and/or success experience in the ecommerce space
Ability to prospect and find key decision-makers
Strong demonstrable project management skills
Understanding of and ability to execute a SaaS sales model including post-sale support
A demonstrated skill with co-marketing or lead generation via content
Ability to work remotely effectively
Energized by building something new in a fast-paced, startup environment
Set and exceed ambitious targets including quotas with a growth mindset
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Interview Process:

If you’re everything we are looking for, you will be invited to a 30-minute phone interview where a team member will dive a little deeper into your experience but also give you a little more info on what it’s like to work with us. If you pass this phone interview, you will proceed to the next set of interviews, which will include:
Meeting with the Hiring Manager
Small Project
Panel interview with future team members
Short final interview with the CEO and COO
