We’re looking for a Sales Director to join our growing Revenue team. The Sales Director role is a combination of sales activities, business development and team management. Reporting to the VP of Sales (EMEA), Andrew Rose, you’ll be responsible for growing and training a team of new StackAdapters and spearheading the product development needed to grow our market share in France.
Given that France is a new market for StackAdapt, immediate responsibilities will be geared towards finding and closing new business, identifying and championing necessary product and inventory changes, and hiring and training a team of local sellers.
The Sales Director will operate as a player coach, working with individual Sales Managers to close and grow high potential accounts. A successful Sales Director must have a clear understanding of the programmatic media landscape in order to effectively lead a sales team and sell StackAdapt’s world-class solution. You must be able to motivate your team to work towards quotas in a fast-paced, high-growth environment whilst providing support for their growth and development.
What you will be doing
Identify, pitch, and close platform sales deals with agencies and brands
Proactively identify improvement areas for our local product and team, and engage the necessary stakeholders to help drive the local offering forward
Hire, train, and mentor a team of Account Executives in the French market
Work with individual AEs prepare pitch materials and RFPs
Work closely with management/product teams to get products specified and built
Work with your team to manage existing client relations and seek account growth opportunities
Identifying gaps in our product offering and engaging the necessary stakeholders to evolve our product in the market
What you will bring to the table
A minimum of 5-10 years of digital advertising sales experience
At least of 1-2 years managing a team, ideally in a sales management role
Native or bilingual fluency in French
Grown sales pipelines with CRM tools for efficiency and transparency using a strong follow up process
Managed successful client deployments and ensured ongoing client satisfaction, renewal, opportunity discovery
Thorough understanding of the programmatic landscape in the French market
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
