Regional Sales Director

Surgical Notes is hiring a Regional Sales Director to identify strategic prospects, build a pipeline, close new accounts, and grow the customer base within their defined market and geographic region to meet the assigned quota. Responsibilities include presenting company products and services to potential clients, identifying specific consumer characteristics, and recommending ways to promote and sell our products. To be successful in this role, one must have excellent communication abilities and be highly motivated to meet sales goals. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills and communication skills, and the desire to learn quickly. Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed required sales productivity quotas (quarterly and annually).

  • Deliver full explanation of our revenue cycle management (RCM), transcription service, coding service, and ScanChart ASC (chart automation and document management application) services and products

  • Generate new business through direct selling, web demos, written communication, and telephone communication.

  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentation of proposals and contracts to prospective clients.

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, update records in Salesforce daily, and submit sales reports promptly.

  • Respond to all calls and emails (external and internal) with a sense of urgency.

  • Operate in compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies as described in the company policy manual, compliance training module, and other material.

  • Maintain and enhance the company's professional reputation by displaying the highest level of professionalism, competence, and personal integrity.

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 10 years of experience selling RCM, EMR, and/or PM software in the healthcare market

  • Business acumen and a proven track record of identifying new sales opportunities

  • Ability to establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned territory

  • Ability to work both collaboratively and individually to close new business in the territory

  • Polished presentation skills for both remote (web-based) and onsite sales meetings

  • Strong attention to detail and speed while working within tight deadlines

  • Exceptional ability to follow oral and written instructions

  • A high degree of flexibility, enthusiasm, and professionalism

  • Outstanding work ethic

  • Excellent interpersonal, follow-up, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Outstanding communications skills; both verbal and written

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Education:

  • Experience working in or with an Ancillary/Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)

  • Administrator or Business Office Manager experience in an ASC

  • Experience working within a Complex Sales Cycle

  • Extensive experience with Salesforce

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Outlook, and Teams

Physical Demands:

  • Sitting and typing for an extended period of time

  • Reading from a computer screen for an extended period of time

  • Speaking and listening on a telephone

  • Traveling 50% of time

  • Work nights and weekends as needed
