Head of Content at ZenRows

The Role

This is not a content volume role. It’s a content positioning role.

The way developers and technical teams discover tools has fundamentally changed. Google search is no longer the only, or even the primary surface. Developers ask ChatGPT. Business users ask Gemini. AI engineers search Perplexity. Workflows are built inside Clay, n8n, and Make, where discovery happens through directories, templates, and community recommendations.

Your job is to make ZenRows the trusted, cited, recommended answer across all of these surfaces, not just in Google’s top 10.

You’ll work closely with Product, Sales, and the GTM Engineer to ensure content is a genuine growth engine, not a support function.

What You’ll Own

  • AEO & GEO Strategy: Own Answer Engine Optimization and Generative Engine Optimization strategy to ensure ZenRows is cited and recommended in AI-driven search surfaces.

  • SEO Strategy & Content Operations: Manage organic search strategy, editorial calendar, content quality, agency relationships, off-page SEO, and technical SEO roadmap.

  • Developer Education & Docs-as-Marketing: Turn documentation into a top-of-funnel acquisition channel with tutorials, SDK examples, and AI/LLM pipeline content.

  • Ecosystem & Integration Content: Build integration guides for Clay, n8n, Make, Zapier, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and more, earning presence in marketplaces and directories.

  • PLG Content & Activation: Create a content-led activation flywheel that drives trial-to-paid conversions.

  • Sales Enablement: Develop competitive battle cards, ROI narratives, and case studies for enterprise sales.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the content team, define editorial standards, and scale through AI-assisted workflows and freelancers.

The Person

We’re looking for someone who thinks in distribution systems, not publishing calendars.

Required

  • 5+ years in content, growth, or developer marketing (B2B SaaS, API, or developer infrastructure)

  • Deep understanding of AEO and GEO strategies

  • Technical fluency in developer tools, APIs, and infrastructure (comfortable editing Python snippets, explaining web scraping use cases)

  • Proven experience building content for PLG and enterprise motions

  • Strong editorial judgment and ability to distinguish educational content from filler

  • Experience with integration/ ecosystem content (tutorials, partner guides, marketplace presence)

  • Comfortable in fast-moving, autonomous environments

  • Fluent in English

Strong Advantage

  • Experience with workflow automation platforms (Clay, n8n, Make, Zapier)

  • Familiarity with LLM/AI agent ecosystems (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, RAG architectures)

  • Experience evolving content functions through GTM pivots

  • Track record of ecosystem/community-led growth content

  • Experience using AI-assisted tools to automate content operations
